Alicia Kipps

Owner

Alicia has been in the hair industry since 2004 and has owned her salon, Scissor Happy, since 2013. With extensive training in different areas, including being Olaplex and Wax Certified, Alicia can provide you with any service you might need. She enjoys sharing her love of education with new stylists, that are just beginning in the hair field. Combining a variety of skills, her talents include Women and Men"s cuts, all types of coloring and lightening services; including Specialty Colors, bayalages, Ombre and Vivids. She also excels in Waxing, Blowouts, and any Event Updo's including Makeup Additions {Mineral or Airbrush}. Alicia's attention to all detail, makes each individual feel well taken care of and attended to. Her goal is to have you looking your best and feeling AMAZING in your own skin.

Brittany Jones

Salon Manager / Stylist

Brittany has been in the hairdressing field since 2008 and has been with Scissor Happy from the very beginning in 2013. Since then, she has attended numerous classes and hair shows to continue her education on all new trends and styles. Although Brittany is well versed in all areas,she excels in men cuts, including fading and designs, and women cutting, coloring, and waxing. She is currently studying to take the Master Barber exam and will soon be able to use a straight razor to give the close shave that every man wants! Brittany believes that her career has created the ability for her to live her passion. We guarantee you will always leave her chair looking fantastic!

Suzannah Grose

Stylist

After earning her cosmetology license in 2018, she has made her way into the hair world. Suzannah has became apart of the Scissor Happy family starting in January 2020 and has quickly made an impact. She excel's in women's haircuts, ethnic hair, Creative Updo's and braiding. She is continuing education and is learning different techniques everyday! Come sit in her chair and she will have you leaving the Salon, feeling like a different person!

Amber Muncy

Stylist

Amber joined the Scissor Happy family in 2019 and has been in the hair industry since 2011. Since graduating Amber has excelled in men cuts, waxing, and color.Currently, she is taking a Nail course to get certified in Gel and Dip powder nails. She will be taking care of all Scissor Happy's Manicures and Pedicures. Amber has a clear passion for hair and nails that shines through to everyone that sits in her chair. Her favorite part is seeing the transformation of the client and their reaction to her work.

Anna Lickert

Stylist

Anna joined the Scissor Happy family in January 2020 and has been hairdressing since 2018 after receiving her training through the Christiansburg High School Cosmetology program. Being eager to get into the industry, she went right into a salon. After being in a salon, Anna has developed the skill set to be versatile in different areas which include, men and women's cuts, updo's/braiding, color and perms. Anna strives to learn and try new techniques everyday! Come sit in Anna's chair and she will make sure you are feeling great when you leave!
